Julius DeVito
CEO & PresidentAn entrepreneur and industry leader with over 50 years experience building and managing companies in the courier industry. Julius formed Grace Courier Service, Inc. in 1970, and in 1974 established Interstate Courier Systems, Inc. with operations across the Eastern seaboard. He took these companies public as part of a roll-up with 6 other courier companies to form US Delivery Systems in 1994. As Chairman of the Executive Committee at US Delivery Systems from 1994 -1997, company revenues grew significantly. He left in 1997 to form Transportation Consultants of America, Inc. and in 1998 acquired Quality Transportation, which is now used as the company's trade name.
John Scarola
Executive Vice PresidentA professional with over 35 years of experience in the courier industry. John was Operations Manager of Grace Courier until 1982. He joined First National Courier as Vice President and brought the company public in 1994 as part of the US Delivery Systems, Inc. merger. He served as VP of Operations at US Delivery Systems, Inc. through 1996. He left and joined Quality Transportation in 1998 as Executive Vice President. John now oversees strategic business development and operational initiatives for the company.
Rocco DeVito
VP - OperationsA professional with 34 years experience managing all aspects of transportation services. Rocco joined Grace Courier Service, Inc. as a messenger in 1974. Over the years he worked his way up through the ranks, serving in various roles including General Manager from 1990-1996. In 1998, he joined Quality Transportation to oversee the New York sales and operations divisions, with responsibility for managing transportation networks for some of the largest financial institutions in the nation. Rocco has successfully managed the integration and expansion of transportation systems of all sizes and scope through the course of numerous mergers and acquisitions that have taken place in the financial industry.
Sandy Ganz
Chief Financial OfficerA licensed CPA with 18 years experience in the courier industry. Sandy started her career at Deloitte & Touche after graduating from Rutger's University. She joined Bermuda Star Line Cruises, a public company, as Controller in 1987, managing investor relations and financial reporting. In 1990, Sandy joined Interstate Courier Systems, Inc. as Controller and was instrumental in the IPO of US Delivery Systems in 1994. Following public listing, she became the Northeast Regional Finance Director, overseeing the financial reporting for the $400M region. In 2002, she joined Quality Transportation as their CFO.
Larry Schertel
Director of OperationsProfessional with 26 years experience in the transportation industry. Larry started his transportation services career with Hudson Armored Car in 1982 becoming their VP of Operations when the company was acquired by Camelot Courier Ltd. In 1993, Larry became Northeast Corporate Transportation Manager for Key Services (Key Bank), responsible for managing both branch transportation and clearing networks through several mergers and acquisitions. He joined US Delivery Systems in 1995 and served through numerous name changes. His last position was as Director of Operations Eastern Region at Velocity Express. In 2002, Larry joined the Quality Transportation team.
